I have been chaning for a few secret shinys for a battle turny I plan to host. You will have to wait to know what they are.

I've never heard anything concerning boosted chances in b/w, so I would assume you have just had a great stroke ofluck. Congrats on your finds!

Well, I don't know if I told my story anywhere, so here it is:

Back when I had my Firered, I was going through a 18th playthrough, and I was riding my Blastoise on One Island. Then suddenly, a wild Tentacruel appear. (which is 5% chances I think) It's shiny; almost got an heart attack. So I capture it, freaking happy, and I fly to the victory road to train my brand new tem member. And five minutes later, I encounter a green Onix.

Two shinies in 5 minutes. I can say that I was happy. ^_^

I have only found one shiny, and it was a shiny Drowzee in Gold version. I found it outside of the Daycare Center.

Okay, I haven't been posting a lot lately (alas, only so many hours in a day), but I just had to get on and share my happiness! I'm Playing X and was at the big fishing pond on Rt. 16 (trying to get that elusive 7 catches in a row) ... tossed in my line and <BLING>! Shiny Poliwhirl!!!! At first I was like, "'sparlies'? Is that a shiny? It's still blue. (I popped on here to check the 'dex entry & see the shiny Poliwhirl.) 'It IS a Shiny!!!!!'" Luckily, I had my catcher with me & was able to get it with no problem. Squeeeeee!!!

Not counting the Red Gyarados in HG/SS, I have encountered exactly 1 Shiny before ... and accidentally knocked it out! I am thrilled beyond words to have finally captured a Shiny Poliwhirl!!!!

Anyway the only shiny I have is a shiny Raticate on my Gold Version- which still saves by the way!!

this thread hasn't been updated in awhile. I wish there were sprites for gen 5 and 6. anyone else have a shiny aurorus?

i caught a shiny murkrow on my x version.

A few months ago, I was breeding IVs and such onto 'mons for a currently-still-secret doubles team, when two of them randomly hatched shiny (not perfect though)! I suppose it was the Japanese ditto I was using for the breeding. I'll give you a hint: both are bright green when shiny, and both stand upright.

I bought OR like one month ago, and I found a shiny Magnemite. I named it Pulse, in memory of my op Magneton. And yesterday, while hunting for dem flags, I tried getting out of a bush on route 119, and bam! Shiny Kecleon!

I've found one shiny in what's probably well over 2000+ hours across all the games.

It was a Magikarp.

I have the worst luck.

But hey, I got Pokerus for the first time the other day.

Hell yeah! I caught a Shiny Sawk. A martial artist Pokemon.
