Tiger10x's Shedinja and Blissey, my Raichu and Golem and Blaze's Ampharos and Glalie.
Also, for the HoF, I know psycho_freak's Metagross/Hariyama should go in, Mr. Saturn's Moltres/Nosepass and Kari Kagome & Mewtwo's Aero/Pluff combo must go in too. Maybe we could have testers to see which teams work best and add them to the HoF?

the hariyama + metagross combo isnt working. because
1: ghost pokemon are overused in 2vs2
2: hariyama should have problems with his low attack + low speed + only one attack that cant defeat 2 opponents.
3: protect/ghost is used many in 2vs2. for example:
Metagross Used agility. Hariyama uses Belly Drum ( takes half hp away + you can be attacked )
Salamence used aerial ace / Hidden Power Flying 70. ( maybe hariyama wil survive a hit. almost sure for not ) hariyama used foresight. metagross used psych up.
come back salamence. go gengar. hariyama used endure. Random pokey used protect. metagross used explosion. protected blablabla. metagross fainted.
so what do you want to do with hariyama? even with salac berry it isnt able to outspeed everything. so this one wont work since gengar is megaoverused and is outspeeding many things its a big problem.
first of all, reversalers / flailers wont work in 2vs2 ( they even wont work in 1vs1 but whatever ). so you should have some things that cover each other.
the things that can a good advantage:
Attacker + Attacker that covers each others
Attacker + Defender / Helper ( like helping hand, protect etc )
Defender + Defender
but it its saying this
3 Turn attack + Almost no covering + Easy kill by nthat many turns + it maybe doesnt do any damage to the opponents pokemon.
because if i see a metagross i switch to a dusclops so it cant boom me away nor meteor mash / quake.
this is called prediction. with prediction you should cover al things.
example. hariyama haves hidden power ghost > Foresight. you always can predict the opponents pokemon by using a extra turn to ko the pokemon and use the explosion then. that is called prediction.

Okie dokie... lots to say here...
-Removed the teams that you guys said were not viable.
-Added Hall of Fame and teams that were recommended
-Updated guide to Version 4.5
Oh, and I have an announcement...
With the Hall of Fame being a more complicated trait than others in the guide, I have made a Hall of Fame Rating Team that is based on the same purpose like the Rating Center.
I need three more members for the team to help rate teams to become qualified for Hall of Fame. So far steinerrecliner and I are already in the team.
If you would like to be in the team, PM me or reply in the guide and we will see what we can do.

No, rate teams that you think can make it in the Hall of Fame. When you think a team is good enough, tell me, and I might put it in the Hall of Fame if I aprove it (I most likely will). So... you wanna be part of the team? Okay, better keep ur duties up though, or else someone is gonna take ur spot.
Announcement: Two Rating Team spots left open!

Sure!

Oh, ur only rating teams to enter the Hall of Fame. Anyone can rate a team based on anything, but you get special privelages to rate HoF material.
I think the guide died or something... Lol

I tested the Meta/Yama team, it worked well if it could survive the hits.

I tested it on Netbattle, it worked a few times, though flyquaza is right, Ghost pokemon are too overused. The only time it worked, the log went something like this:
Opponent sent out Swampert and Magneton!
stein sent out Hariyama and Metagross!
====================================
Opponent withdrew Magneton!
Opponent sent out Venusaur!
Metagross used protect!
Hariyama used Belly Drum!
Swampert used Ice Beam!(I survive on 63/red health)
Salac Berry raised Hariyama's speed!
==================================
Metagross used Psych Up on Hariyama!
Venusaur used Leech Seed!
Metagross was seeded!
Hariyama used Reversal!
Swampert fainted!
Opponent sent out Espeon!
=============================
Hariyama used Endure!
Espeon used Psychic!
Hariyama endured the hit!
Metagross used Explosion!
Espeon fainted!
Venusaur fainted!
Hariyama endured the hit!
=====================
And on with the mid battle. Anyway, Gengar was a common opener, and Fake Out is common too. This team rarely works, so it could be removed from the HoF. Also, the Pluff/Dactly should saty, but the NoseTres dont work, so remove that from HoF.

Hmmm... So the Nosepass/Moltres team don't work... The Jumpluff/Aerodactyl team does... and the Metagross/Hariyama team still is a 50% chance? Okay, I will make the changes now.
Edit: Okay, I made the changes to the guide. Mr.Saturn's team was put in the normal credits and I left the Metagross/Hariyama team in the HoF. I think it still has a chance to keeping the spot.
Also, I am amazed that no one has made a Plusle/Minun team. They are in fact the mascots of 2v2 Battling . I wonder if it is possible... If so, I can make them .

How about:
@ Lefties
Plus
Encore
Helping Hand
Rain Dance
OMIT
@ Lefties
Minus
Thunder
HP Grass
Double Team
OMIT
Simple stratagy. With Speed EVs and a Timid Nature, they should out speed a lot of things. Quite simple. Minun is the offensive pokemon, while Plusle helps out. Rain Dance and Thunder your way to victory, while getting a boost from Helping hand and and Minun's ability. Helping Hand and HP Grass to kill all those pesky ground types. Watch out for Earthquakes though.

Yes, but if Minun dies, then Plusle has no chance of surviving.
I can understand that Plusle is the supportive pokemon and Minun is there to damage. We need more defensive strategy in there... hmm...
Oh, what about filling in the OMITs with Substitute?

I'd personally swap Plusle and Minun's roles around, because Plusle is a much better attacker than Minun. Minun is more defensive, thus it should be given the defensive set. The defensive one needs to do some sort of damage, so give it T-Bolt or thunder or something, although Sub would be understandable.
To HoF matters, I'd like to add Psycho_freak's Slowking/Cacturne Combo, as I use that in my Ruby GBA double battle team (I trained a team for both battle styles, each with their own strategies), and it kicks a lot of arse. I'd also like to show you a set of my own:
Ability: Chloryphyll
Moveset:
Poisonpowder
Psychic
Ancientpower (this is to stop flying types, it has an good enough attack to pull this off)
HP Water
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Guts (this is VERY important)
Facade
Megahorn
Brick Break
Swords Dance/Bulk Up
Item: Leftovers
Strategy: Poisonpower Heracross, then abuse Guts/Facade like crazy. If Heracross were to raise it's attack beforehand, it could OHKO anything that isn't a ghost type, or called Steelix, Skarm, Regirock or anything else with a skyhigh defence. The other moves should be used if they are super effective against an opponent.

i know a nice movecombo of minum and plusle but they are NU instead of OU in double. so only use it on bl or uu double battles
Minum@Leftovers
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power Ice
- Helping Hand
- Fake Tears
Plusle@Leftovers
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power Grass
- Helping Hand
- Light Screen
this one should work. only eartquake cause massive damage.
can i add one of mine?
Cradily@Leftovers
- Recorver
- Swagger
- Barrier
- Rock Slide
Lugia@Scope Lens
- Safeguard
- Aeroblast
- Shadow Ball / Ancient Power / Iron Tail
- Recorver
Stategy: With safeguard lugia cant be paralyzed and be swaggerd away by cradily. it also has superior defense to stay some turns in the field. with scope lens you will almost always score a critical hit with aeroblast + swagger gives you a mega boost everyturn while you can attack. only some ice moves gives some problems. but aeroblast kills almost every pokemon with a base power of 300. that is even stronger then explosion.
Edit: i like this one a little. it works 80% of the time

How about the raters of the guide create a Plusle and Minun compendium in which we can discuss the movesets, strategy, and stats of Plusle and Minun? There are just too many ideas getting sent at once...

I had an idea a while ago on this duo:
@ Scope Lens
Blaze / Jolly
EV's: 252 Attack; 252 Speed; 6 HP
~
Rock Slide
Endure
Reversal
Focus Energy
@ Salac
Serene Grace / Modest
EV's: 252 Sp. Attack; 252 Speed; 6 HP
~
Skill Swap
Flamethrower
Sunny Day
Endure
Basically, Skill Swap with Blaziken as Blaziken uses Focus Energy. Blissey uses Sunny Day and Blaziken attacks or uses Endure. When Blissey eventually gets enough damage, use Endure, and with Blaze and Sunny Day, Flamethrower should do enough. Blaziken just sweeps what it can.

Okay Okay, I added the /{metagross} Team to the HoF.
Announcement: All spots in the Hall of Fame Rating Team are now taken. There will be no more recruitment for the team unless a current Team member doesn't keep his/or her duty (which I doubt is to happen).
Welcoming the newest and last member to the Rating Team: Truestar!

Hey guys, I had an idea for this team that covers all the types.
Physical Sweeper (with EQ of course)
@thick club
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Lightning Rod
-Swords Dance
-Earthquake
-Brick Break
-Aerial Ace
Special Sweeper (two choices)
@leftovers
Nature: Modest
Ability: Intimidate
-Dragon Claw
-Crunch
-Hydro Pump
-HP Electric
or
@leftovers
Nature: Modest
Ability: Inner Focus
-Ice Beam
-Thunderbolt
-HP Dark
-Thunder Wave/Light Screen/Roar
Basically, they just cover all the types and Marowak also sweeps with a STAB'd EQ with the Thick Club, which just plain hurts.
Which one do you think is better though, Salamence or Dragonite?

Dragonite covers for most of Marowak's weaknesses with Ice Beam and Thunderbolt, so Dragonite definitely works better here. But having Dragonite as a Special Sweeper is very tricky, you have to work everyhting out just right.

What do you mean by "very tricky"? Are you talking about the HP Dark?
Also, just to tell you, you can use others besides for the Physical Sweeper too (ex. , , , , ) but I love Marowak 'cause of Thick Club and STAB'd EQ (Love that EQ! )
BTW love the cat picture.
