actually that was a rate for gloom master 8)
i used psych up on mewtwo so that he could gain the raised attack to whoever got swaggered. since he's got barrier and such high stats anyway, i figured that the opponent's raised attack was moot anyway (hopefully you wouldn't go and swagger a tyranitar or sumthing). then you can used your PSYCH-UP-ped attack stat to sweep with 's amazing speed and uberpowerful return.

im actually gonna put up my team for a rate a lot of moves seem impossible on certain pokemon (like skarmory) in johto but i sharked any ones that seemed legitimate.
@ quick claw
agility
swords dance
baton pass
steel wing
@ leftovers
toxic
spikes
whirlwind
drill peck
@ brightpowder
attract
t-wave
t-bolt
surf
@ scope lens
psychic
fire punch
ice punch
recover (this comes in handy in poke stadium)
@ mint berry
belly drum
rest
return
shadow ball
@ miracleberry
outrage
earthquake
wing attack
rest
this team is pretty straight-forward (at least it seems to me). i use scizor to bp attck and speed to dragonite and snorlax to sweep while skarm is just a tank, raichu is the annoyer, and kazam sp sweeps. the problem is i just realized is that with dragonite, i pretty much have no need for snorlax. on top of that, you can only spike once in johto and toxic doesn't build up after opponent switches (rendering skarm pretty much a roaring def tank). so now im in need of a phys. tank (high defense) and a sp. tank (high sp. def). i also don't have a healer
any suggestions from pokemon fillers to movesets to items are welcome. notice that the held items have to be different on each pokemon b/c pokemon stadium restricts that.

hm ive decided to use blissey now as my healer/sp tank (replacing snorlax). now the problem is with the items (cuz stadium requires that each member of the party hold a different item in battle), so skarm and bliss can't both have leftovers. my item config is listed in the original request for a rate so feel free to shuffle any items around, just making sure that no two pokemon have the same item. any help would be appreciated
basically wat im lookin for is an alternate item for blissey besides leftovers (which is prob better on skarm right?)
thx

Sorry to bother any of you, but i have my old Crystal team that i think could be improved, here it is ({dragonite} is my favourite in Crystal)
lvl93 (m), Item: normally leftovers
Ice Punch (gonna try and change to Ice beam)
Fly (again gonna try and change it, i don't know what yet)
Extremespeed (yay Crystal)
Hyper beam (i know its not a good move but i cannot get EQ as i have used my only copy of it, i think)
lvl81, (f), Item: No item
Blizzard (i don't know what i should replace it with)
Hydro pump (gonna try and get Thunderbolt)
Surf
Ice beam
lvl72 (m), Item: No item
Hyper beam (again need good move here)
Ice beam
Crunch
Rock Slide
lvl64 (m), Item: No item
Iron Tail
Flamethrower
Extremespeed
Fire Blast (any surgestions?)
lvl63 (f), Item: No item
Hyper beam (uh oh another HBeam)
Rain dance (your not going to like the next move)
Flamethrower (see)
Thunder
also any good idea's on a 6th pokemon?, i normally have a pokemon that i'm training instead of a 6th party member. Also, if you think any pokemon should be changed for another one, i don't really mind.

Dragonite cannot learn EQ in GSC, Anyway I'd try Wing Attack over Hyper Beam, Return over Fly and Rest over Ice Punch, Dragonite works well as a Physical Sweeper.
lvl81, (f), Item: No item
Blizzard (i don't know what i should replace it with)
Hydro pump (gonna try and get Thunderbolt)
Surf
Ice beam
Duplicate Rest or get another and replace Blizzard with it, everything else looks good, just make sure you get T-Boly over Hydro Pump as soon as possible.
lvl72 (m), Item: No item
Hyper beam (again need good move here)
Ice beam
Crunch
Rock Slide
Try Earthquake over Hyper Beam, and Return over Ice Beam.
lvl64 (m), Item: No item
Iron Tail
Flamethrower
Extremespeed
Fire Blast (any surgestions?)
Try HP Grass over Iron Tail and Attract or Toxic over Fire Blast.
lvl63 (f), Item: No item
Hyper beam (uh oh another HBeam)
Rain dance (your not going to like the next move)
Flamethrower (see)
Thunder

Body Slam, Shadow Ball, Rock Slide and Rest for the set, if you want Special, then Do the 3 elemental moves (T-Bolt, Flamethrower and Ice Beam).
Also Lefties is the best item for all of them, unless you're doing Stadium.
For the 6th member, try a Blissey,

ShadowFlygon:
- I'd try Giga Drain over Ancientpower for STAB, You're probably going to get sweeped by Houndoom or T-tar anyway.
- Looks like it'll work well
- Ice Beam for the last slot for a good special sweeper.
- Try Sunny Day and Solarbeam over Roar and HP Grass, I see what you're trying to do, but in GSC Roar always attacks last, so Houndoom will probably faint when you try to Roar.
- Looks like it'll work good, watch out for Fire Blasts
- Personally I like the Passer the most, though since Scizor is already there to pass, you can try the trapper,
@ Leftovers
Toxic
Confuse Ray
Bite
Rest
For the items, Leftovers is the best out there, so see if you can get some.
Personally I'd suggest you get rid of Dragonite for a different pokemon, like Arcanine with Extremespeed, Flamethrower, Roar and Toxic (Yes even though it becomes regular poison, it's still annoying)
psychic_espeon: Normally you have to come up with the sets yourself, though since there isn't a Standard Set Guide for GSC, I'll give you the standards.

You correct another yet you break two forum rules?
vince, as promised here is your rate.
Gold Team
(Before The Elite Four)
Meganium lv.50 (or higher)
Body Slam
Synthesis
Toxic
Razor Leaf
Although EV's play a bigger part in the current games, they still exist here. So the same rules apply. Seeing as two of your moves are Physical, and 1 doesn't matter, it's best if you redirect you attacks towards Physical, so take away Razor Leaf. You can replace it with Earthquake, (TM 26), if Earthquake's TM is already used, try Swords Dance. Body Slam is good, but Return is better, I assume that Meganium was raised from Chikorita? If so it's happiness should be up there, if not go raise it some levels, and give it some Vitamins. (Whatever raises Attack and Speed). You can keep Synthesis is you like, but I don't see it helping any.
Typhlosion Lv. 50
Swift
Flame Wheel
Fire Punch
Thunder Punch
Two fire attacks and split EV's? Nice try. Give it Sunny Day (TM11) in place of Swift. Level it up to 60 so it learns Flamethrower, and place that in Fire Punch's place. Now fit any Special attack in Flame Wheels place, preferably Hidden Power Grass.
Feraligatr Lv. 50
Slash
Bite
Surf
Blizzard
Ouch, take Blizzard and replace it with Ice Beam (Crystal Tutor when available), take Bite for Rain Dance (TM 18), and put Return where Slash is. Even though you are concentrated on Special Attack, Return's base attack is pretty high, so you need not worry about such.
Ampharos Lv. 50
Thunder Punch
Headbutt
Rest
Snore
Out of the whole Elite Four, only one Pokemon, has one move to put you to sleep. So the Rest snore technique is not worth it. Replace Headbutt with Return, Thunder Punch with Thnderbolt, and Snore with Thunderwave. Rest itself is okay, but snore isn't worth it.
So there you go! I hope every thing works out okay and you cream the Elite Four.

ditch flamewheel. add sunny day. ditch return. add earthquake/hp grass.

this be my new g/s/c team. need help with . not sure whether to make it a special sweeper or a phys. sweeper and if special, if it would be better to just grab instead?
@ focus band
agility
swords dance
baton pass
steel wing
@ king's rock
attract
thunder wave
thunderbolt
surf
@ brightpowder
toxic
sandstorm
protect
encore
Dont know if this needs a healing move? i generally use this with a switched leech seed for maximum drain.
EDIT: this is the alternative to the low-hp shuckle wall:
@ no item
toxic
sand attack
thief
drill peck
if i take whirlwind on skarm, i can ditch the roar on tyranitar and replace with another move...
@ quick claw
earthquake
rock slide
pursuit (good for switching in on sp sweepers who switch off)
roar
@ miracle berry
dragonbreath
double-edge
wing attack
rest
Not sure about the role of this one. i have tyranitar as phys. sweeper already but i kinda wanted another filler to baton pass the attacks to. does anyone think i need another special sweeper? if so, movesets plz and would work better in this spot instead?
EDIT: this is the alternative dragonite im trying on netbattle
@ mint berry
light screen
icebeam
thunderbolt
rest
@ leftovers
psychic
leech seed
heal bell
recover
