Just so that everyone knows, I've added this awesome guide to the site template here: http://dynamic3.gamespy.com/~psypoke/de ... battle.php
You'll notice that not all teams made it to the Pokemon section on there, and I'm sorry, but I simply just got lazy.. there were so many Dr DoubleDuel, if you think I should put up a certain team on there, or if I need to make a change, please tell me.
You'll also note I've added a section to the guide, that's "Technical Details" which is just a small paragraph explaning the workings of the game as it processes double battles.

Hmm...the following set is pretty basic:
@leftovers
(drizzle)
Calm Mind
Surf
Ice beam
Body Slam
@leftovers
(rain dish)
Leech Seed
Giga Drain
Toxic
[a damaging move goes here]
Ludicolo satays alive for a long time with drizzle+rain dish+leech seed+giga drain, and he can wear down one (or both) opponants at a time. For fire and flying pokes who think they are pretty clever and try to attack ludicolo, kyogre can take care of them. They are both weak to electric, and I suppose you could replace something on kyogre and teach him earthquake to make short work of electriks. Even if ludicolo does take a few hits, his combination will keep him going.

It looks good. Of course, something that eats special attacks, like Blissey or Muk will probably do some damage to you (not to mention Blissey has T-Bolt for Kyogre and Muk can Sludge Bomb Ludi).
Generally, it's a good annoy set. Not to sure about Body Slam on Kyogre. For Ludi's last move, you might want to try Surf or Dive.

Hmm...dive would be good to slurp up the health. And you could do double surf to sweep through.
I'll look up kyogre to see what I could put over body slam.

I'd try,
@ Leftovers
Surf
Ice Beam
Thunder
Calm Mind
@ Leftovers
Razor Leaf
Surf
Body Slam
Swagger (Emerald)
Ludicolo will use Body Slam and Swagger to stall while Kyogre uses Calm Mind to build up.
Kyogre's Attack stinks so don't bother with EQ. Kyogre's Calm Mind raises defenses so Electric and Grass attack do less damage. And Electric attacks are normal effective on Ludicolo because of it's half grass type.
And if I remember right, Razor Leaf effects both pokemon (I think it keeps it's base damage) and it has better PP than Giga Drain.

Sooo... What is the conclusion? I need a choice for the team, so I can post it on the guide.

I'd say the 1st one with a few modifications. The 2nd Ludi is... unpredictable. Ludi isn't a very good sweeper. Plus, RL hits both Pokemon, but becomes half powered (plus STAB, that becomes around 54pwr, 1 less than original )
Anything on Venu/Ninetales?

Actually Ludi is there to stall while Kyogre builds up and Sweeps.

Razor Leaf and Surf are just there to cause some extra damage while the opponents are confused/paralyzed. I thought of doing Toxic instead of Body Slam, but it doesn't help Kyogre out much.

I guess it's up to you, You could just choose whatever one you like the most.

Ok, thanks I didn't know that about Razor Leaf. It's still better (in my opinion) than Giga Drain.

You could put both, just i'm not sure if there should be 2 sets with the same pokes.
I have another Double Battle set.
{Chlorophyll} @ Leftovers
Body Slam
Synthesis
Solarbeam
Attract/Swagger
{Drought} @ Leftovers
Ancientpower/Rock Slide
Earthquake
Aerial Ace
Swords Dance
Tropius will stall with Body Slam and Attract/Swagger (Emerald), while Groudon powers up with Swords Dance. Groudon will sweep with Earthquake, Aerial Ace, Ancientpower or Rock Slide when it's attack is maxed. Tropius will be able to recover well with Synthesis, attack with Solar Beam And Tropius will get extra speed thanks to it's ability and Groudon's Drought

It's a good set, albeit risky. Tropius's speed is still low despite Chlorophyll, and if Attract/Swagger doesn't work or Body Slamd fails to PAR, then a Ice Beam could knock out Tropius and you're left with Groudon. But that's pretty situational.

Hmm... couldnt ya put Groundon with a Pokemon with Flashfire like Ninetales.. i know the problem would be if theres water Pokemon around and such but Ninetales is fast and you can have Ninetales the annoyer and focus on putting statuses on the water pokemon... thought the EQ wouldnt be good...

I know. I tried to put it underneath the text, but whenever I editted it, the Rating and text went all on one line, and that looks ugly. I just placed it one space lower, since I cannot do anything about it.

{raichu} @ Leftovers
Surf
Attract
Thunder
Sweet Kiss
@ Shell Bell
Rain Dance
Will-O-Wisp
Thunder
HP Water
Raichu will start with Attract or Sweet Kiss, while Gengar uses Rain Dance.
Raichu will then attack with Thunder or Surf while Gengar Burns them with Will-O-Wisp. Pretty Simple though you may have trouble with Grass types and Shedinja.

What exactly do you want it like?
Like this?
Dr.DoubleDuel wrote: Flash Fire- Prevents fire damage from fire-type attacks and increases power of Pokemon's fire-type attacks. Can be a fire Pokemon's best friend. Try to handle it though in a 2v2 Battle.
